Jr. Flag is a tackle devlopment program for our younger players ages 5 & 6 from the following areas - Laguna Niguel, Dana Point, San Clemente, Laguna Beach, Aliso Viejo, San Juan Capistrano, Ladera Ranch, Mission Viejo & Rancho Santa Margarita - who want to learn all about the game of football. Players will have the opportunity to play both offense and defense, as well as to play a game where team work is key. Families will be able to watch their kids grow into the sport and become a part of the Patriot football family!

There are no weight requirements for Jr. Flag divisions. Jr. Flag players must be either 5 or 6 years old as of July 31st. Certifications and physicals are required (see Football tab for more details).

Registration Fee: Regular registration cost for the Jr. Flag division is $125.00.

Practices: Practices start in late July. Practices are Monday - Friday for up to two hours each evening in August and then will then go to three days a week for up to two hours each evening after Labor Day. Regular season games are played on Saturdays after Labor Day. All players must use a mouthpiece and league supplied soft shell helmet in all practices and games. The teams play 9 games starting in September on a modified field of 80 yards. Playoff schedule to be determined.
