for the South Orange County Patriots!
Since 1991, the Patriots have proudly served the communities of Aliso Viejo, Laguna Beach, San Clemente, San Juan Capistrano, Laguna Niguel and Dana Point. It is our goal to teach good sportmanship, self confidence, mastery of the game, and provide a fun family environment to be enjoyed by all.
We have a proud tradition of championship football and cheerleading teams! Our scholar athletes represent South Orange County in competition with Orange County Junior All American Football's (OCJAAF) 26 sister organizations in Orange, Riverside and Los Angeles counties. OCJAAF recently celebrated its 50th anniversary. The Patriots provide opportunities for children ages 5 to 13 to participate in organized football and for youths ages 4 to 13 to participate in cheerleading. Our organization is run entirely by volunteers, most of whom have children in our football and cheer programs. Last year we fielded seven football teams with a total of over 200 players. The youngest team, which competes in the Future league, plays flag football (ages 5 to 7). The other teams play regulation tackle football in full football gear.
The sister organizations include: Baldwin Hills, Bellflower, Cerritos, Compton, Corona, Fountain Valley, Garden Grove, Huntington Beach, Inglewood, Irvine, Long Beach, Mission Viejo, Newport-Mesa, Norwalk-Santa Fe Springs, Orange, Placentia, Riverside, Rowland Heights, South Bay, South Gate, and Westminster.
